Our Students
Janet Sarfo is a theoretical physics researcher from Nkwanta, Ghana. She graduated with first-class honors from KNUST in 2023, winning the Whittaker Award. Janet’s research includes studying intrinsic charm in Z + c-jets events with the ATLAS collaboration at CERN. She’s also led photonics outreach in Ghana and mentored young women in science. Janet is now preparing for graduate studies in quantum field theory and physics beyond the Standard Model.

Prince Gidisu is a physics graduate from KNUST who participated in the CERN Summer School 2024. He worked on the TOTEM experiment under CMS, analyzing datasets for a Glueball search in 13 TeV proton-proton collisions. His work focused on real-world data analysis and experimental particle physics, solidifying his interest in applied physics.
